MARINE CORPS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
New England Warrior Supports the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF).
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships for higher education to deserving sons and daughters of Marines and former Marines, with particular attention being given to children where parents where killed or wounded in action.
Following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, MCSF embarked on a historic capital fundraising campaign to raise $50 million. Titled the “American Patriots Campaign,” MCSF committed to provide up to $20,000 in scholarship assistance over four years (2006-2010) to every child of a Marine or Navy Corpsmen serving with the Marines who is killed in combat in the Global War on Terror. MCSF surpassed this goal by awarding $30,000 in scholarship assistance to each of these children.
